The overall aim is to contribute to North Calotte
area development with graduates from the post-secondary vocational
school that has good knowledge of the region's countries and
their cultures. Young people who see it as natural to work
across borders and develop business ideas with business partners
in neighboring countries. Nordpraktik supports the internationalization
of post-secondary vocational training and entrepreneurship
across borders in the region. Nordpraktik will increase labor
mobility within the group of students graduating from the
post-secondary education.
The goal is to make the most of the students' business ideas
and stimulate entrepreneurship.

Our
working area

Phase 1 aims to offer skills and experience for education
providers and other relevant actors in the program region
and within the region. Special focus will be aimed at finding
relevant training operators on the Swedish side of the project's
next phase with the polytechnic form is relatively new in
Norrbotten. The relevant players in the Finnish and Norwegian
side are in the process to be active in the earliest phase.
The objective of Phase 2 is to offer internships to students
in postsecondary vocational training and match students'
internship projects with suitable companies in neighboring
countries.
